Concentrated Excellence

A concentrated substance is made when the superfluous is removed to leave only the essential. With ELLIPTIQUE, the best has been brought to fruition.

This concentration of excellence has cumulated from one the most successful sire lines of the moment, that of SADLER’S WELLSGALILEONEW APPROACH. This is also the case on his damline, with black type throughout the page, including National Hunt performers and the globe-trotting champion AMERICAIN. Excellence is also apparent in his individual qualities.

ELLIPTIQUE is a Group 1 winner, competitive from 1,600 to 2,000 meters, boasting both speed and stamina. You still want more?

He was competitive from 2 to 5 years old, proof of an iron mentality, with his balanced frame and dark brown coat.

PEDIGREE NOTES

Son of Classic producing sire New Approach, from one of the deepest Rothschild families

Out of Kendor mare URYALE, who herself is producing black type form on the flat and over jumps, including CICEROLE, AFANDEM and LE VAGABOND

Trained by André Fabre, the son of New Approach won on debut at 2 and went on to win the Gr.3 Prix de Condé that year.

After his two year old year, he subsequently won the Gr.3 Grand Prix de Vichy, culminating his career with a scintillating win in the Gr.1 Grosser Dallmayr Preis.
