Presentation

AN ASCENT IN BOLD TYPE

His first crop of young champions have confirmed their quality and perfectly negotiated their progression to larger obstacles. Karaktar's representatives have widened their field of expertise to include steeplechasing. The prodigy Il Est Français (Prix Renaud du Vivier Gr.1 2022) is unbeaten in 2023 over fences (including the Prix Fondeur, L.), the same can be said of Janeiro Verde (Prix Le Touquet L.) while Incollable has moved up the ranks (Prix Héros XII Gr.3). This is how Karaktar breaks down inter-disciplinary boundaries. And why he is climbing the national rankings so quickly. A figurehead in bold type, he is already knocking on the door of the national Top 10 with only three generations of racing age and fewer offspring on the track than his rivals. A successor of Sadler's Wells via High Chaparral, the Aga Khan Studs-bred stallion, who also transmits the renowned Kahyasi influence over jumps, is now firmly in the spotlight. A just reward for a stallion whose career was cut short and who passes on qualities that he himself was unable to reveal.
