ON ALL FRONTS
In a game of go, Prince Gibraltar would make a perfect start. After establishing a first delegation of talented, and even precocious, performers on the flat, he strengthened his arms with proof of jumping ability. This rise to prominence is characterised by around ten black-type representatives over jumps. After Lokman and Najima Star, winners of the Prix Finot and Wild Monarch 2022, Canichette provided a further boost to Prince Gibraltar by offering him a first Group title (Prix de la Gascogne Gr.3). This is a deserved inaugural accolade for a dual Group 1 winner who competed at the highest level from two to four years old over intermediate and classic distances. His own versatility now finds its perfect expression in a crop of more than 70 winners in France, on the flat and over jumps of course.
